Question for the Transmission Guru's.
A freind of mine is giving me a 4L60E tranny for free. I plan on using it with my 5.3 GenIII swap.
My question is since he cant tell me weather or not its a good working tranny is there a way i can check it without installing it? I guess i could just take to a shop and have them check it out but i might as well have it rebuilt if i go that far. I guess i need some advice here. I really dont want to take it in if i dont have too.
