Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
These are a 33" column measured from end of the D-D coupler to the end of the column itself (minus the steering wheel adapter). Total length is 35 1/2" to steering wheel flange if you include the adapter. 2" Column diameter and 3/4" D-D Wide Shaft, 1" Tall.

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
I would just measure yours up and go from there. If it is a little shorter than your original one dont sweat it. You could find a newer itermitiate shaft that can adjust with a little persasion since the shafts were ment to crush in case of a crash. they can be extended

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
No prob, eather way if its a lil shorter just look at your columb and see how far the shaft goes up till you hit the bulb part of the column, then you know how much play you have. I put a van tilt in mine and it is against the dash but i have to say i love the tilt You will also might need an adapter for that wiring harness on the column, just about six bucks http://www.classicpartsusa.com/produ...ring_Harnesses ( just to help you with what youd be searchin for they are cheaper than this)

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
Thanks for sharing this... I might go this route myself. Been in the market for an auto tilt column. $209 and free shipping is speaking the right price.

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
I believe 33" is the correct length. One thread I had read before was stating they was cutting a van column down 3" from 36". Someone has a definite answer on here though.
Here is another that is offered thru CCP on Ebay that isn't too bad of a price and will fit http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-C10-TR...sories&vxp=mtr

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
LEX, the information I have gathered on this column has been very little. I read the reviews they have from there Ebay store and didn't find anything that said the columns aren't worthy of being used, every one had good comments about those. Other products people had issues, but not these.
The few things I do know about these are: You have to cut the slot out for your nub that holds the column in place at the dash, you need to have the wiring adapter that is mentioned above, and it has a 3/4 D-D shaft for hooking up to the steering shaft instead of having a splined shaft (requires drilling and bolting). And another thing, there is no neutral safety switch.

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
I may not be quiet correct on what to do with the 3/4in D-D shaft. I googled it and a few other company's selling them was saying something about a drilling.
Does anyone have any incite on the D-D shafts? The best aftermarket price I have found so far is CPP's that I mentioned prior in this thread. Brand new reproduction. Even at the price they are selling them for, makes it a hard decision to decide between repo and finding a good used original column.

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
I put the CPP tilt column in my truck. Fit nice and no issues. I wanted tilt and wanted to get rid of the old 3 OTT hardware that is no longer used.

Re: Who knows Autonets Steering Column?
I don't have the part number, but it was the stock reproduction tilt column. Basically, this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-C10-TR...item589cd453a1 Except without any of the shifter components since I have a manual with floor shift now.
