Crossed Wires???

I've been very close getting my blazer road ready, and the other day I want out to start her up and keep her blood flowing, turned on the head lights and she sputtered out and died on me. turn lights off, fired right up, turned lights on and she died again.... what should i look for?

Re: Crossed Wires???

Try unplugging the harness from the light switch then jumper the terminals for the lights in the harness. If you are not sure how to jumper them, try a different switch plugged into it.

Also look for any problems in the harness under the dash, feel around, run your hands along the wires, push and pull. Do it with the engine running and lights off, see if the engine stalls.

Sounds like a serious ground to me.
