frame id i have the numbers
ok its a 72 gmc 4x4 body the frame is from something newer i think but not sure i am having a hard time finding parts can anyone tell me the year of my frame and rear ends and if its 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton the number i got off the frame came from by the steering box the numer is 2f356257 the number off the front diff is 458858 with a N above that and 1187 up toward the top the number off the rear end is 3896839 with the n and 1277 im thinking that the front diff is a 87 made in nov is and the rear is a 77 made in dec is that right. thanks in advance guys i hope someone can help me out it needs brakes on the back but i cant figure out what year it is and i have gotten shoes 4 times and none of them is right.
