55-57 fiberglass doors

anyone have experience with us bodys glass doors for 55-57?
they are a little cheaper than steel doors
mine cant be saved
i drag race so reduced weight would be nice

Your truck may not be insurable if you use those doors.
one of the questions on the classic insurance questionnaire is "does your vehicle have any fiberglass body components?"

I just have standard insurance and theres no state inspection where I live

im just wondering about fitment problems...I know fiberglass generally doesn't fit the best but if its decent ill live with it my trucks far from perfect

not a show truck....drag car street driven pretty much

Remember fiberglass thickness vary in the molds so expect to fight fitment issues on window assembly mounting, door latches, and hinges etc....So be fore warned if its strictly race don't worry about it. If just racing I would get a stock door and a large hole saw and lighten it up possibly come out lighter than glass door.
