Front disc brakes

Looking for a good front brake kit for
my 69 with 6 lug. Will keep my drum brakes back.
Maybe someone out there have any extra
for sale and would be interested in shipping
to Sweden.
Yes, it’s a long shot, I know.

Re: Front disc brakes

Try Scarebird. They make adapters and you can use possibly available local parts from much newer vehicles.

Re: Front disc brakes

My son's 69 had all 72 and 73 1/2 ton parts I think. At least what I have had to replace so far. LOL. Rotor, Caliper, bake pads, bearings and upper ball joints. Not sure about the suspension as we have not gotten into that yet, but I do believe 72 and 73 brake parts will work. But, I am just a weekend warrior, others here will be more helpful I am sure.

Re: Front disc brakes

I didn't have time to go scouring junk yards
Got this kit from POL (performance online)...not sure they will ship overseas?
You can also source 73-87 parts...the entire cross member assembly will bolt in
I got stock spindles....you can get lowered as well

Re: Front disc brakes

I would think he would have an easier time finding a unimog in sweden then a vintage c10 for parts

Have you asked any of the vendors if they ship to Sweden?
Year one Lmc Gmcpauls summit racing

If your not having luck with kits you can read the sticky on brakes and order the individual parts on places like summit racing 67 to 70 disc brake spindles stock or drop
6 bolt rotors calipers for 71 to 79 inner and outer bearings and races
After 79 chevy introduced a light duty disc option that is thinner on disc width
