Who daily drives their old truck?

So who does this and how far a drive for you?

I bought my 68 with the intention of DDing it, but AFTER I put discs on it (kit is still sitting in boxes), shoulder belts (purchased but came in bad shape, hopefully vendor solves this quickly), quieting down the exhaust (just got a pair of Vibrant resonators last week to add to my 2-chamber flowmaster exhaust - still in boxes) and getting it running better because I couldn't give it more than 1/3 throttle without it breaking up (new carb and fuel pump installed, much better, still needs some tuning).

Anyway, despite not having time to work on my house AND this truck (house is priority, especially in wife's eyes) my hand was forced last week when the transmission went on my 2000 Silverado on the way home from work one night. So I gave my fluids and air pressure a check, gave her a quick rinse and now she's doing 70 miles a day on some very fast and congested tri-state roads. So far so good mostly, have a noise popping up here and there from what sounds like right left front wheel. Assuming it's a brake issue.

I bought a blutooth speaker to pair to my phone in order to listen to Sirius until I get a radio installed. Having said all of that, it sure is nice to see and climb in her in the morning and at night. What do you all think!? What's your story/excuse? And let's see what you've got.
