Re: wheels/lowering?
What size are your tires? Any pics of the truck, specifically down the side of it? Same size wheel / tire all the way around?

Re: wheels/lowering?
How low you go is dependant on alot of things. Tire size being one of them. Beyond that you have to decide how involved you want to get and what your intended purpose of the truck is.
You should be able to run an ECE 3/5 drop fairly easily. Anything lower may require a different wheel choice and definately some frame, control arm and/or crossmember mods. Post some pics of what your rollin' so we have an idea of what your workin' with.

Re: wheels/lowering?
275/55 is a TALL tire.
(31" if I remember right) I don't think you will be able to lower it much. Member 72BlckButy's truck is lowered 4.5/6 with 20's,... but his tires are alot shorter.

Re: wheels/lowering?
My personal concern is the front tire size. I think the rear would be fine to drop it some but in the front you have to think about turning the wheels, etc.
What I'd do is drop to about a 255/40/20 tire and you could do a 5/7 drop (?) Just from what I can see in the pics. Some of the guys here may disagree but .. just me. How low do you want to go with it? 2.5" spindles would be pretty easy and you could go with maybe 255/50 on the front if you like a bigger tire sidewall, just not as low overall. It's a good looking truck like it is

Re: wheels/lowering?
255/40 up front and a 275/40 on the back.
Then you should be able to drop it fine. A 275/45 might work on all four corners. The front will be the main issue.

Re: wheels/lowering?
Should.
But you will need to lower your truck first. Then select a tire height that will fit. A 255 or 275 tire should work great on a 8.5" wide rim. The aspect ratio (40 series or 45 series) will determine the tire height. Your 55 series tires are too tall. (in my opinion)

Re: wheels/lowering?
No help on the lowing but I will say, you can get a set of chrome dust caps for the front. Just shoot that hub black then pop the stock dust caps off and pop on some chrome ones like these $10 ones from Summit and it will match the back.
