Why do 72 frames look tweaked in the back?
My frame looks like the back is a little twisted and I have noticed the same thing on a lot of other frames also. Is this my imagination or is it due to the tracking arm being on an angle? I'm paranoid now that when I boxed the frame that I welded it tweaked. Anyone know how to measure it and be sure?

It's the member that sits at an angle and is normal.

Re: Why do 72 frames look tweaked in the back?
So are u saying that if I set the bare frame on my shop floor (which is a known flat surface) and measure it from the ground that the frame rails will be exactly the same distance from floor or should be?

Re: Why do 72 frames look tweaked in the back?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. This is what I'm refering to as being angled. The middle brace.

Re: Why do 72 frames look tweaked in the back?
measure across from a identical point on each rail to the end of other rail. Like an X. This measurement should be identical.

Yes you are exactly right that's what I am referring to. Hmm too bad I don't have one of those.. The reason I'm worried is because I cut the rear frame horns off of Attempt/Mistake #2 and want to check it all before I paint it and find out its all screwed up
