My 82 C10 Build

Picked her up a month ago, 305 auto, newer paint, Texas Truck only bad spot is on the pass. Door. Super clean underneath. I picked her up to just haul material from lowes to work on my house. New Plan....... Drop her add 20 Eagle 225s, and ls swap.
This is what she looked like when i got her...

Ordered DJM 5/5 Kit
front pic

Rear Done

20" eagle 225

Tires Nitto 245/40/20 rrr and Nitto 305/35/20


Truck on eagles


2004 5.3 4l60e got tank , pump, rad., pedal, ecu, all wiring, drive shaft, etc.


ordered new smaller chrome mirrors, and rear cab molding, and solid back glass. Harness and ecu, are in transit back to me from S@S performance.

that front picture the front end looks lowered while rear is stock hight is that correct? how low is the front in that picture.

Yeah the front pic was with just djm spindles and springs. it was a 5/5 kit

Updates....... Out with the old in with the new!!!


Finished fuel sysytem. used 87 sending unit, high flow pump, corvette filter regulator.



ran out of daylight, starting back on her tomorrow.... used stock manifolds, no problems.

Fired truck up today, first turn of the key. what a great feeling, finished up trans mount. left to do is finish cooling, exhaust, gas pedal, and shift linkage.

Ill have to check backspacing, i just ordered 20 by 10 and how ever they came. 305 35 20 nitto, on rear and theres plenty of room on each side, may add spacer just to bring em out a hair.

Update on parts. dropped off drive shaft today to be shortened, ordered b&m mega shifter, and won black leather GTO buckets on ebay. also added CAI kit auto zone had on shelf for 5.3,

Engine bay still being organized, have to mount ecm and relays. Fab Pedal. add ls 6 stuff.

I love the truck. Wish it had the original 82 grille though, not many of them left! Regardless, I wouldn't change a thing about it.

Updated pics added rear cab trim, cleaned up bay a bit , mounted seats.




also had exhaust done true duals with super 44s.
next project is upgarde to autometer gauges, and build custom full length center console

Few pics...suspension settled a bit. home made console
also installed 373 and Posi last weekend. Had exhaust from super 44s back changed to 3 inch pipe. deepened the sound nice.
