Re: WTB-Driver Quality 1971 3/4 GMC Hubcaps

DId you mean full size or dog dish? Can you post a picture of these 3/4 hubcaps? what is the difference in the 1/2 ton caps and the 3/4? Another person on this board is also looking for 3/4 dog dish GMC's, but I don't know the difference. I hope this doesn't sound like too stupid of a request. I understand if you don't have a picture or if it's too much trouble.
Thanks.........

Larry: I'm guessing he's prolly tallking about the "Dog-Dish" style like these.
I was lucky to get a reply from a member on here that had this pair. I think he also has some in stainless. All i know is the GMC 3/4 ton dog-dish caps are
just about as rare as 10 cent a gal premium gas. I think the 1/2 ton caps are approx 8 3/4" in dia & the 3/4 ton are approx 10 3/4" in dia. Jamie 71 Longhorn

The 1/2 ton are approx 10.5" across and the 3/4 or one ton caps are approx 12" across.

I have a set of stainless caps i may part with. (not cheap) PM me if interested.

Thanks for the replies. Those are the ones I am looking for. I prefer stainless but may go for a painted set. Thanks for the help.

Did you find your caps yet? I have a set that's better than drivers. If that works or if you don't find them let me know, we always could do some trading / cash.
