Re: lt1/4l60e swap ????

There should be a link somewhere here. I didn't document my build up. I wish I had. I do have the Lt1/4L60e setup in my 67. Others here on the board also. Kerry

This one has been beat to death . Search the forum for '4l60e' you'll get a gaggle of threads on GenII and GenIII swaps. Longest one is here:

Have fun.

The link Shifty put up is a good read and one ive referred to many times during my ongoing swap. So far this is what ive had to do to get my LT1/4L60E into the '70...

Reprogram PCM for no emissions, different axle ratio, tire height, delete VATS.
Rework harness to get rid of all the wires I dont need.
Use 6 cyl towers and new sbc mounts
Notch frame for A/C
EFI tank with pump and new 3/8" supply and return lines

The Optispark is a PITA to get to so while you have the engine out of the vehicle go ahead and at least put a cap and rotor kit on it.

Take a read in that link, good stuff.
