5 hole change overs what did you do with

the rear axles? If you got redrill or change over axles or what, tell what you did. I have change over stuff for my 68 and my first 70 are covered . It is my last 70 that came in last week ,I don't have the rear stuff for it. I have a rolling 76 frame I could get the front and do a crossmember change over.

I have real leafs so swapped the entire rearend with the one from the same truck that the front came off of. Had to swap over the shock mounts and bump stops from the '67. Just a couple hours work if you have good welder handy.

Well, that is what I did on my 68 GMC and my other 70 that I change both from longs to shorts and 8 hole [GMC] and 6 holes[70 c-10] to 5 . Now I am out of extra trucks to get suspesions off of

I got some weld on traing arm mounts and adjustable panhard bar and used the 3.73 posi from the 76 that I used the front suuspension from.

you can also replace the axles ... I think ECC offers them.
