Re: structural steel industry

I have a civil degree from Clemson. I have a minor in Structural Steel design and construction. My steel classes were my favorite. I couldn't find a job in it when I graduated in '04, so I ended up in site design/land development, but I always thought designing buildings was cool.

Re: structural steel industry

I do inspections for an oilfield construction company, so I get to see my fair share of structural steel being set up.

Re: structural steel industry

it's a nice industry to be in, always nice to see it start to finish. Start a big mud hole and finishing as a huge cool building.
