Tailgate Question

did GM ever make a tailgate without any lettering stamped into it ? I bought one today, and I am pretty sure it is aftermarket, but just wanted to know?

It came off of a K5 Blazer.

Re: Tailgate Question

I don't think they did. All of the tailgates I've pulled the CST/Cheyenne bands off of all had letters under them.

Re: Tailgate Question

thanks for the info. I kind of figured it was a Repop for as nice as it is, but it still is probably worth what I paid for it. I am probably going to sell it off anyway, I will get some pics in a little while, Moma cooked some Thai food, so I will be busy for a while.

Re: Tailgate Question

I am sure that it is a Repop, but the price was right.

Re: Tailgate Question

Well, bad news is, I bought a Repop (41 LBS.)...Good news is it is still worth what I paid IMO..(128.00 complete with handle and new latches) I am sure I can get my money back out of it, or trade for something I need like Sub parts.
