Disc Brake Conversion pics

i have been working over the weekend to convert my truck to front power disc brakes. i got everything off and now im re-installing the disc brakes and parts. i am concerned about some things.... it seems like the spindle is hanging down too low. when you do a conversion with parts off of a 71, can re-use the 69 a-arms or use the 71 a-arms???? or do you put the 71 upper and lower ball joints into the 69 a-arms (thats what i did)?? also how tight do i tighten the nut on the ball joints? i also havent put in the new bump stops. and those bars on the spring is how i held them in place when they were compressed.

Re: Disc Brake Conversion pics

only help i can offer is about the ball joints: in general i use an adjustable torque impact gun to tighten them down, since the tend to spin.
