Shaved wiper cowl?

I've been playing with the idea of shaving my wiper cowl but really don't know how the few I've seen were done. Smoothing it all with body filler seems a little excessive and would crack pretty quickly, and cutting and welding in tons of filler plates would take ages to get done so to anyone who can shed some light would be much appreciated.

Re: Shaved wiper cowl?

I think the people that shave all the little slots usually cut out all the slots together and weld in one big piece per section of slots removed

Re: Shaved wiper cowl?

Mine is done the way maxxxy said, cut out and weld in large piece. I did not shave my wipers but wish I would have. Maybe next go round.
