rear sport bumper brackets

are they a difference in the brackets if the truck was leaf or coil rear? my 69 is leaf rear and has a sport bumper on it. but it looks like the rear hole wouldnt line up for a bolt so the genius PO tack welded the bracket to the frame. my SPID says nothing about a sport bumper so im guessing it came with a step bumper. thanks guys

Re: rear sport bumper brackets

I don't think the brackets are the same - check the LMC catalog, they usually have pretty good pictures, but I think they are a little different.

Re: rear sport bumper brackets

To add to cdowns, any bumper was optional and the step was a higher priced option, most were shipped w/o a bumper so dealers could add one at extra cost and as a means to advertise in case of step bumpers (many were engraved with dealers info so you could not get rid of it without changing bumper)
