Anyone like to draw?

I got kinda bored the other day and picked up a sketch book. I haven't really drawn anything in 15 years or so but always liked to draw things back then. I wouldn't consider myself an artist by any means. I decided to draw my 86 stepside from a picture I took. I think it came out pretty decent for having never drawn a car and not using any stencils. I plan on making a really nice version to frame and hang. What do you guys think?

Your step side kick ass too!

I love to draw........ anything and everything. I just wish I had more time to sit down and put some art to the paper.

That is some really nice artwork! I wish I could draw like that! Or even remotely decent for that matter!

Nice. I actually started back up with a cartoon for my kids. They love Frozen so I drew Olaf.

C10guy, based on my life and experience I have some advice. Just keep playing with no expectations and you will be happier. Otherwise you could get discouraged with results and not enjoy it anymore. No, I am not criticizing your work, just giving advice.

I can not draw worth a crap but do know how to admire the work of others. All I see here is good. I wonder what a stick truck would look like.

Re: Anyone like to draw?

You guys have talent. I haven't done any art in ages. In fact, I haven't done any doodle drawings in forever, either. That's mostly what I'll do, sketch a vehicle I have in my head or just doodle a scene with a ball point while I'm stuck on hold or waiting for a call-back. I used to do a lot of pen & ink, sometimes with water color and sometimes just shaded.
I drew these around '82. The first is what I had planned for a '69 CST K/10 Custom Camper I had.

This is a dually I dreamed up and a short short road handler, I guess what we now would call an autocross racer. I was thinking SCCA racing, but same deal...made to handle. Before anyone laughs, remember these ideas were over 30 years ago

I had a pipe dream to make my Nomad a 4wd...slightly shorter

And the '78 shorty I had
