EXPENSIVE LESSON I DON'T KNOW WHY VENDERS SELL THIS CRAP.WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! DIDN'T KNOW HOW IT WAS GOING TO FIT TILL IT WAS TO LATE,WHEN I WAS PUTTING THE GRILL IN. PISS ME OFF!! NOW THE FENDER HAS TO COME BACK OFF AND REPAINTED.THERE IS A VENDER THAT IS NOT GOING TO LIKE IT VERY WELL!!!!!!!!!!

My tubs were exactly the same!
Took me a week of nights to get them to fit.

Sorry dude I feel your fustrastion.

Only I felt it before it was painted so yours should be about 70 times worse.

Not to say that your wrong. But It looks like a litttle tweakin will get it lined up.
This is a prime example of why you mock build everything first before paint.
I have after market Cowl hood fenders (both sides) rockers cab corners and floor pans. They all fit fine (with a little tweakin)
I worked in a body shop for a while and this is true of most replacement parts for any vehichle weather it is OEM or aftermarket they need a little tweakin to fit right.
Hanging panels is an art form that requires alot of patience and skill. PATIENCE being the keyword, skill can be learned through patience.

I bought a Good m,,ark cowl hood. there was no way I could ever get it to fit. How is your gap at the front edge of the hood ? I had the coroners hitting and a 1 " GAP in the middle.

GET SOME MONEY BACK!! Cause from the pics, like you say the left is ok but the right is $hit. Thr right can be adjusted properly and fix those bad lines with a couple of strategically placed shims. I am not bustin your balls, I'm just sayin that fender is not the problem it is the technician hanging them.

I used new GM inner fenders, original LF fender and NOS RF fender and have the same gap between the fender and inner fender that you have

Haven't worked on it to try to improve it, but soon will.

I agree with nsane68 the biggest problem is your body shop. Anything aftermarket will have to be tweaked to get a desent fit. If your bodyman was worth his salt he would have made it fit or if the fender was really the problem he would have made you get another fender before he shot paint on it. Did the bodyshop put the fender on? Did they have the grill to use to line it up? Have they seen it now and had a chance to line it up? Sorry just thinking out loud.

Repro parts are not he best things but I have also heard that these year trucks were not the best for being able to interchange parts and everything fitting back together perfect. In theory any part from any other truck the same year is suppose to fit perfect but with these trucks it wasnt that way without a lot of tweaking. It looks like some more tweaking of the parts is needed. You might take some measurements of the repro and measure them with the GM fender and see if they are the same and this may show just what you need to do to get a better fit. Sometimes getting these things to fit perfect can be a headache. Good Luck.

DUDE!! Seriously get it back to the body shop now and bust their balls about it till it is right. If you drive it all summer then go back they most likely will do nothin for ya. Good luck
