Those have been around since the mid 70's. I think JC Whitney sold them first. Price sure has gone up since then.

yea I kinda like the idea..not the price but?? wounder how the fit and look?? not to mention how they stay up??

One of the members has one on his truck....saw it on his build page....look for "It's just a truck" he had it mocked up in his truck.

My buddy had one of those in his DJ van. It was an 85, fit ok. I didn't like it.

Those things have indeed been around for ever my fear would be it falling down on me especially coming from jc whitney..

The front mounts under your visors and they take screws all the way around. I think they mount where the standard headliners mount. How does the chrome trim ring mount in a standard headliner? I've never had one and can't remember the last time I seen one.

Used to install these in the late 70s. They were originally sold by Cycle Sound for stereos or CBs. Never was terribly impressed with the sound quality. They advertised in PV4 (Pickup Van Four Wheel Drive) magazine a lot if you are looking for an ad.
