Thoughts on rocker replacement & Thanks Kevin (Rockcrln)!

I thought I would post a few thoughts on my rocker replacement. First of all, I'd like to thank Kevin (rockcrln) for his post "Rocker replacement 101". This super-informative thread gave me the necessary information, ammunition, and confidence to do this job. As in his post, the more metal I removed, the more rust I found. I've got a lot more work to do than I originally planned for. I didn't take pics 'cause the camera battery is dead. (Or - as I tell my son, No film in the digital camera!) I figure y'all have seen enough pics of rotten rocker panels anyway.
Also, the cheap ($5) spot-weld cutters from Harbor freight are the bomb! I usually shy away from HF cutting tools and consumables, but these things work well! I will stock up on more. Due to my work schedule & other commitments, I won't get back on this until March, but meanwhile I've got a running start.
Thanks again Kevin (and others!) for your help. Y'all are a regular reference and inspiration source to me.
