Quick bed swap question......

I know I've seen this on here, but haven't been able to find it searching, so....

Will a 70 or 71 metal floor bed bolt on in place of a wood floor 67 bed? It's a long bed, if that makes a difference. Was going with a flat bed, but a really good 70 has popped up around the corner from me, and it's cheap. If I can drop it on and tighten 8 bolts, I'm going that way. It's even the same color, and the side markers are shaved, so it'll match my 67.

Thanks ya'll.

Re: Quick bed swap question......

Came in for lunch, and to see if anyone else wants to chime in. I can't pass it up if it will bolt on. I could be tagged and inspected in a couple of days. The flat bed is going to take some redneck engineering to make work. But 8 bolts and done is tough to beat.
Thanks.

As long as you had a wood floor fleet side or step side, it will mount right up. If you had some sort of flatt bed or aftermarket bed on there, then you might be missing some mounting brackets on the frame.

Re: Quick bed swap question......

Thanks all. Really nice guy I'm getting the bed from. He's delivering it tonight. Hope the bolts from the wood bed will work on the steel floor.
