Re: hood scoops????

What type of scoop are you looking for?

fiberglass scoop that mounts to the hood?
carb mounted scoop, that sticks up through the hood?

Check Summit's website, do a search for "Scoop", they have a decent selection.

I am a huge fan of the Enderle style scoops. They look so cool, almost menacing, sticking up through the hood, with the butterflies opening witht the throttle.

Re: hood scoops????

Go with a replacement hood, stay away from the LUND style stick on hood scoops ---

Re: hood scoops????

The trend (thank god) is to lean away from K-mart rash.I agree with Joe,if you must change the look,go with a cowl induction hood. It`s not actually a "scoop",but does let fresh anbient air under your hood.

Re: hood scoops????

It would be some work, but I saw a 76-72 at The Good Guys show a few years ago with 67 Chevelle scoops molded in...

Re: hood scoops????

Digging up a thread from the past. Does anyone have pictures of the yellow truck above? It was for sale locally and I didn't get pictures of it. Just wondering because we've got an extra 67 Chevelle hood laying around...
