No. If you can continue to get ethanol free gas that's not a bad idea, but mixing non ethanol with a blend like 10% ethanol should be fine.

Re: Mixing gas Q

If I can't find ethanol free gas I put 93 Octane 10% Ethanol in my truck. Actually, the engine kinda likes the octane boost. But, when I can I try to use 89 Octane non-ethanol just because the 93 non-ethanol is so expensive around here (about $4 a gallon).

I may be wrong but I have been told ethanol is only bad if it sits.

Re: Mixing gas Q

I have 21 gallons of ethanol gas I drained from my tank sitting in 5 jugs. I am thinking about just putting a "free" sign on it with a note letting the new owner know exactly what he's getting and be done with it. The stuff is 9 years old.

Re: Mixing gas Q

Richards, that is true, this will be burnt up though. Then before winter it will have the ethanol free again before it has to sit most of the winter.
