new guy

Took me long enough to get an account on here! Ive got a blue 72 i bought 10/13/10 for 800 bucks. Its been sweet so far, a good deal into the floorboards were rusted out(PO or one before that attempt fix with tin and bondo) as were the dog legs rockers and cab corners and bottom corners of the doors. Got all that cut out and new welded in during january. All i gotta say, is i absolutely love these trucks and you guys on this forum are real good helpful dudes. Ill eventually upload some pics.

Re: new guy

Right on, man! welcome! You now have a life-long hobby/treasure if you want it, cuz these things last forever! Had mine for 27+ years now. It amazes me how well it's held together and runs, despite not having done much ('72 C-10 swb fleet).

The easiest way I've found is to load them to you hard drive via digital camera or camera phone. Put them in a folder under" My Pictures" such as "My Truck."

Then log onto a thread or start one and click on "Manage Attachments" If you don't see that then click on go advanced under the reply to post.

Manage attachments gives you a page with 5 browse tabs and you will need to click on one to get back to the picture or diagram you want to post. You will have to locate the file path to get to the picture you want to show. When you find the picture you just click on it and it will come up on the browse tab then just hit upload and it will attach to your post. If it is too large you'll get a message saying that and you will have to resize it to 100KBS or less.
There are other ways to do it also. You can download from a website if you can locate the file and just click on the down load from URL button.

These trucks are like potato chips, no one can have just one. I have 3, dad has 5, my brother has 3, my son just bought one. He's 17, he's just getting started..lol

Welcome to the asylum
