70 Chevy Stepside Floor help

I have a 70 Chevy Stepside that is in great shape with the exception of the floor pan. It needs to be replaced but I am not very familiar with trucks. I have had old cars before but never had a truck. Love the truck but how to I replace the floor pan? Based on what I see, the cab appears to be supported by the floor pan? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 70 Chevy Stepside Floor help

They make patch panels for the floor. There are also cab mounts available. If it's really bad there is a complete floor pan also.Check to see how much floor you need and the BB vendors can help you out.Try Tim Christian at Christians Classic truck parts. He is close and saving shipping will be a blessing.
