Billet hood hinges
does anyone know if they have corrected the billet hood hinges for the 67-72 so that the hood will open all the way up

the billets hood hinges for the 67-72 chevy truck they wont allow the hood to open all the way up like the stock ones

I am not sure if the last question ever got answered. I have heard that some do interfere with the factory air, but I have no example of that, just what I heard.
You can just make your own out of your old hinges. It is not too difficult of a fabrication since the old hinge provides most of the geometry. If you have moderate fab tools you can make a set for around $100. Most of that is in the bearings and hardware. As you can see mine open up several inches further than stock hinges.      No, I am not posting this because I am going into business making hinges, I made them for myself and have posted them so you guys can get an idea to fab your own from my design. I wanted a set but there was no way I could afford $600 bucks for a set. .
