converting from external reg to internal reg

I know this has been covered before, but my quick search didn't turn up the right posts.

My brother has a '72, and it has both the external voltage regulator and has been fitted with an internally-regulated alternator. Of course, I told him that he should just go ahead and get a new wiring harness that would be correct for his later alternator, but he's too hard-headed to do it....he'd rather just putz with what he has and so forth.....yeah, I know.

So, anybody got a quick solution to converting his trucks wiring? I told him I'd ask on the forum if I couldn't find a post/schematic that covered it.

Hey Bro., if you're reading this....I still think you should get a new harness because you know the harness you have is crap!
