WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

Hey all..I'm looking for a used 67-68 rad core support, in the NE Florida or SE Georgia area.

I know a new one is less than $200, but I'm tight on $$ right now, and I need one to at least hang my front sheet metal so I can get some other things done...plus I might..I repeat, might use it to take measurements for making a my own support.

I'll need the headlight buckets and also the little corner brackets with it too...

anyone?......

Re: WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

I haven't had any luck with the repo sheetmetal- mostly cheap& light weight metal! My 1st choice will forever be original GM metal!
I just saw another guy posted below you has one for $50 in Austin, Greyhound has good pricing on shipping!

Re: WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

Yeah...I'm going to try and use all original sheetmetal....I was lucky enough to find a fairly complete 68 to pull most of my sheetmetal off of...the original tailgate on it was in fantastic shape...

The core from Austin was already gone.

Re: WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

Hmmmmmm....I would be interested in the 72 rear end, it's complete and in running condition? (already have 5 lug front disk brake conversion waiting)

Can you shoot me over some photos of the swb bed? sean@usoff.net

I'm going to need one of those too....not really ready for it yet...but...

How does the weight and quality of the new rad support compair to the original one?

Re: WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

I know I didn't make it clear but the frame is in pieces. I removed the 5 bolt rear for my 69 frame. a 6 bolt 69 rear and front susp is with the parts.

Re: WTB 67-68 Radiator Core Support - NE Florida

darn it..I've got all the 6 lug stuff I could ever want right now

Ok..so the rear end is out...got any photos of the bed?

Just don't think I could justify just coming up for the rad support alone..not at $3+ a gallon now
