Books that will HELP?
Does anybody know of any books out there that will help me through the restoration of my 70?
I'm a complete idiot on body work and welding and all that stuff, but I want to learn. I did see a guide to help restore chevy trucks 47-72. I'm just not sure if there's a better one out there. Thanks, Bryan

...even get your self an LMC vendors catalog...it's full of parts breakdown diagrams etc. Can be very useful even if you don't buy from them...

the most helpfull book that you can have in restoring one of these trucks is a very healthy checkbook!!!
you might want to check out your local library for automotive how-to books, sometimes they'll surprise you with what they have on the shelf or what they can order for you

Haynes or Chiltons manual.A factory assembly manual, a LMC catalog(don't buy anything just use the pics)The Chevy truck restoration book is OK but most restoration books are about the same. This BB is probably as good or better than all of the listed books.
