So what has to be removed from the engine bay to put on the c10 emblems?

just put on my cheyenne emblems.

did mine with my inner fenders off and unbolted the bottom bolt of the fender that you're attaching to. you will be able to flex the fender out just enough to be able to bolt it on...

or just order the clips that attach the chrome trim piece that goes just above the tailgate handle...they will make the job really easy...just press them on the emblem posts, then press the emblem in the hole. no need to remove anything.

wish i knew this before i did it the hard way.

Anyone know where to order those clips from? I am about to install my new emblems.

there called barrel clips, your local auto body paint store should have them, maybe even a regular parts store

I didn't know about this method either. I unbolted the inner fender on the pass. side and fit my arm in on the drivers side., but mine are held in by the front nut only. In hindsight I wish I would have just mig welded the holes closed for a smoother look.
