I've heard there is a tie rod adaptor sleeve to use 73^ spindles on a 67-72. Where can I get them and how much do they cost?

I don't think there is such a thing. The correct tierod for the 73 up spindles should fit into existing 70 and down adjusting sleeve, assuming you are not mixing 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton.

They run $48 a pair. What year truck are you putting them on?

I have a 68 1/2 ton 2wd, and a 87 1/2 ton 2wd I can use for a donor

I bought a set of these from Bill several months ago. I have not used them yet, but thought I would chime in with my $0.02....
I thought they were a bit expensive but when I got them in the mail, I saw why. They are top notch custom made parts. I have not used them because I havn't worked on my truck for some time and I'm not ready to swap spindles yet.

Also I want to say that Bill Athey is a good guy to buy from. He honored a sale price on these (after the sale date was past) without me asking him to do so. Also at the time he didn't have them in stock, I paid for them on a visa and the charges didn't go on the card until the parts shipped.

I have them they work really well. Make sure that you use a 67-70 outer tie rod on the inner. Trust me on that.
