Need suggestions/reccomendations

I need some ideas on how to "tinker" with the truck mentioned below. For this I have a budget of $2,000, not counting labor (where applicable)

I have a 76 C20 with a good running(stock) 350 I have only two requirements. The frame and suspension are off limits. no lifting or lowering and keep the shinny stuff(chrome) to a minimum.

Re: Need suggestions/reccomendations

Get A Matched Intake Cam Combo From Edelbrock(PERFORMER, POWER RANGE FROM IDLE-5,OOO RPM), Paint The Intake To Match Your Block. Get A Good Free Flowing Exhaust(headers If You Want, But Get A Good Set With Atleast 3/8" Flanges) Get A Hei Super Coil From Accel And A Good Set Of Plug Wires. Fix Any Problems You Have With The Truck.
