Bad Day

Heres whats left of my old 87 and a 84 that i done for a buddy. The 84 had a Ramjet 350, mild drop and 20" Torque Thrust. My old 87 had 13" & 14" Baer brakes and 22" and 24" Inrto's. Notice how the centers melted away on the Torque Thrust wheels in the rear. Bad way for a couple super clean shortys to go out. Might be a good time for everyone to make sure you have your rigs insured properly.

Here's the '87.
Loved this truck with it's narrowed rearend.
(I like these Torq Thrust II's on it better)

Looks like it was an electrical issue in the garage.

Re: Bad Day

So sad. Just seeing an ol square in any shape driving around brings a smile to my face. Seeing this hurts the soul. Hope insurance helps out!

Re: Bad Day

Where does one go to get their truck appraised? I am going to have to do that after it is done for insurance purposes.

Re: Bad Day

That's terrible! That 87' was beautiful.

What are you guys doing for insurance? I have full coverage, but I'm sure they would only pay Blue Book (no where near what I have in it). I called a couple of those classic car insures and they expect you to only drive a few miles per year to parades and car shows and such.

Re: Bad Day

That's a shame! Your 87 was one that I "right clicked" and saved a long time ago, that was a good looking pickup!

Re: Bad Day

Sorry for you and your buddies loss. Hopefully the insurance will help you rebuild the shop and get a couple new trucks to build.
