Have issue with rear shock mount and flip kit

I was looking today at the rear shock mounts after I put the WC flip kit on. The shock mount is right up against the flip kit plate. I won't be able to get the bolt through and the nut on. Surely I am not the only one to run into this. What is the fix? Not the best photos.

Re: Have issue with rear shock mount and flip kit

Get rid of the. Overload spring then run a shock mount extender welded to the old mounts.
Much smoother ride then

Re: Have issue with rear shock mount and flip kit

I got a shock mount extender...gotta have it, cause your factory shocks won't fit unless you wanna buy new shorter shocks. My extender was a bolt in job that was hassle free.

Re: Have issue with rear shock mount and flip kit

I have the same setup as above with the overload spring removed. I installed the shock extenders before I installed the flip bracket. I had to notch the bracket for the head of the bolt for the shock extender. It doesn't take much off . Just mark and grind it out .
