My 82 swb custom deluxe

Hello all! Here's the story behind the truck.

My uncle got the truck years ago, he then got a 383 built for it and never really drove it. My dad wanted a v8 again so he bought it. He then wanted something a little better on gas.(makes no sense at all ha) so I traded my s10 and some cash for it. I fell in love with the truck when I first drove it. It had a 350 turbo and a welded diff with 3.08 gears. i wanted to drive it as a daily so I decided to do some work to it. Here's is the list of upgrades and future plans.

As it sits now:
383
200-4r
Auburn gear locker with 3.08(from my 4x4)
New Long tube summit headers
3" exhaust to flowmaster 44s dumped before axle
New brakes all around
New shocks out back
New plugs
Some TSW 20x8.5" with 1.5" adapters
New gas gauge
New fuel sending unit

Future plans:
Body work
Paint
New pitman arm(have it, will be on tomorrow)
Lowered either 2/4 or 4/6
Get 2" adapters for back
Window tint

I just got the 200-4r in today and the locker and I love it. At 60mph in 4th gear with torque converter locked up its running about 1200 rpms and it's not struggling at all. I read a lot about airplane gears and overdrive would be horrible but my motor seems to have enough torque to pull its weight around. I'm hoping for 18-20 mpg on the highway. I will report back after some miles have been ran with this setup

Re: My 82 swb custom deluxe

Well it's been a while and I just flipped my axle and put 4.56s in. Driver side leaf was twisted and cracked so I ended up buying new from lmc. Bought some western chassis shock extenders and mopar performance axle perches. I need top end upgrade.

Anyone know what kind of locker this is?
