Its insane. Its not like before.

I really don't see too many of us posting over there anymore. Except for a few.

I still go and hang out at Chit-Chat or in the Performance Forum. I get the face when I look at the side of the topic and see when the last response was. Or how many hours are spaced between responses and topics. Its pitiful.

Yeah, it's a shame. Was always nice to have almost instant replies. But, maybe someday it will be like that again for us.

Come on now we gonna start bad mouthing CT. grow up! it's still a damm good site, just because the Pied Piper moved over here all the little mice came running. JK. But seriously I like both sites because i'm a Chevy type of guy and when I joined CT all I heard from all of you was how great the site was and all the ramblings about we'll never leave this place and the CT family. I'll stay out of the political side and stay on the enthusiast side, If I remember correctly it was the Swerve who kept the bashing to a minimum and I think he would agree this is not needed here. So guys lets keep the negative posts out and stick with the what we know best Chevy Trucks. If I ruffled any feathers, my apologies but I don't want what happened at CT to happen here. John.

Thumbs up

I found this site, the 67-72 side of course, WAY before I found CT. Once I got onto CT, I was hooked, it is a great site with great people. I made quite a few friends over there and have gotten a lot of good information. If it wasn't for CT, there may not have been a Southern Bowties! I read both boards pretty equally, they both have their good and bad sides. This one has a MUCH larger base for 67-72 than CT. I think I kinda fit in the 73-87 side, since my truck has many parts from 73-75 trucks/blazers!

I visit both and help out on CT in responses but I love the freedome of Chit Chat here in the forum much like it used to be at CT. I also agree with Ryan. With out CT the SB's may not have come to be.

The big thing I don't like about CT is you can't post anything for sale. It's still a pretty good site for info, but I don't check it nearly as much now as before for the truck stuff...only for Elkys....

I too have noticed a change at CT, with a lot of people migrating to this forum. With this forum, you can see who's on line I think both forums have a lot going for technical advice and encouragement. I visit both forums popping in & out and still find it entertaining.

I like the non selling theme. Keeps the board from cluttering up with junk. This site offers the seperation so the topics and items are handled differently. A world wide website is not easy to manage. In time the board will regain it's momentum.
