Is $1150 for just the frames as pictured, or is that complete with foam and upholstery, ready-to-bolt in?

No springs? Is that a problem? Other foams & covers may not fit, as they are cut out for the OEM springs. Will they only work with your foams & covers?

All you need is a square piece of foam to fill that void. All new seats from manufacturers run "seat Pans" and dont have springs like the old seats did, the new foams make up for the lack of springs

In just a bit we will have our own foams and seat covers available and we will correct the cavity in the foam

What are we looking at for a time frame for the complete seats? Stock appearing seat covers? Price tag?

Definitely a cool project.

I am not a bucket seat owner...
Nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night!
From the pictures I have seen, there is a center console between the seats. Is your wood seat and console box to hold that space until I find a good used one?
Sorry if my question is stupid...Consider the source!

Thanks,

Bill

Not a stupid question if you are not familiar with these seats. The "Buddy Bucket" seat was a super rare option for 67-68 Chevy trucks, they are highly sought after and very hard to find. The center wood that you are referring to is exactly how they came originally (it gets covered in foam and then upholstery) the bottom panel flips up to reveal a storage compartment and the back folds down to give you an armrest.

I think it is also a legitimate third passenger option for bucket seats because of it's sturdy construction. Unlike the console on a 69-72.

Thank you for the edumication!
'67-'68 only option? I have seen many threads and other posts about them so I thought they may have been '67-'72 options.
