NV4500 with GV over/under drive

I have a 95 NV 4500 trans with a Gear Vendors over/under drive unit complete for 2 wheel drive. It is out of a 95 1 ton crew cab truck that was used for landscaping. The original owner wanted to be able to split gears.

The trans has 145,000 and the GV unit was installed in 99 and has around 65,000. The truck was flipped over and a friend bought it back from the insurance company. I was going to use it in my 72 longhorn project with a turbo 6,2 diesel. Because of some medical problems with my knees and feet I decided to go with a rebuilt 2000 8.1 gas motor with a 480le trans instead.

The trans shifted well as did the over drive unit. I have all the wiring and the control box. All the fuilds were changed on a regular basis and as the back of my truck can tell, the fuild is pink and clean. The trans tipped over when I moved it from my garage to my shop.

The control box has some outside corrosion on the case but does not effect it's operation and the shifter mounting base, that bolts to the top of the trans , is made of plastic and two opposing ears were broken off when a worker hit the shifter when the truck flipped. A new control box is $200 but you wouldn't need it.

It does have an electronic speedo , I didn't look into what was needed to use it in my 72.

i priced a new and used GV unit and the new was around $3000 and the used around $1100.

NV 4500 around here go for around $800 to $ 1000 used,

I am asking $1200 for both complete. I don't know about shipping but I can strap it to a pallet and drop it off at a shipping company near by or ........The only added expense would be gas and the straps. Will work out something, I am 35 miles away from Fayetteville NC and my zip is 28387. I have no idea how heavy the combo is but it took three people to put it in the back of my truck, and they were not happy,

United States Post Office money order, cash or paypal you cover fee's. plus
if you have a personal check I can cash at a bank local to me, again Zip is 28387.

I have a couple more pix but can send if asked. Email me at SCJKOVACH@GMAIL.COM with nv4500 in the subject line
