He says they are for a 250. I didn't think the bracket was different for the 292, but I could be wrong.

They are from a 250. The 292 alt mounts lower & has its own adjustment bracket. It probably could be adapted to a 292 as they are hard to come by.

I have a 292 and 250 and both are in Conroe.
Bring me a half gallon of Blue Bell and come compare.......

The only difference between a 292 and 250 is the height of the block.
So any bracket that bolts to the block AND head will be different.
Power steering pump, for sure, not sure about PS.
