wheel base help

After some measurements please. I would like to know the wheel base of a '48 short bed AND a long bed.
Also, the aprox length and width of both bed sizes, please.
Have a two ton truck and think I will use the heavy chassis, but would like to get the pickup proportions pretty close to right.

i think regular 1/2 ton is 115 or 116 inch wheelbase...i used a regular cab longbed s-10 frame instead of finding one and its pretty much the same wheel base

Thanks, Leroy. Wouldn't mind knowing the wheel base of a long AND a short bed.

There is lots of other info on those pages like sh.ipping weight for each model if you happen to need a weight for your truck for paperwork purposes. You may not have a scale weight but you can print the page and tell who ever needs it "this is the original factory shipping weight".
