I can't really seem to find any info on brows. Does anybody still make them? Were there even that many of them to start?

im thinking LUND used to make them but not sure if they still do for these trucks, just missed out by a month or so i sold one to a buddy of mine.

Be advised that those visors increase highway drag by a large amount. Back in the '50's somebody road tested an Olds with the new V-8. Difference in top speed: with visor, about 90. Without visor almost 95 MPH! So, guess what that does to your gas mileage?

Personally I think they should be left in the 80's, but thats just me. Just so you know, they are prone to leaking, and promote rust as well.

If you want to have real fun, put on a visor AND a straight bug deflector. Hit 70 MPH going down the road, and watch the visor get torn off.(Did this in the late '80s when it was "cool" to bolt every gadget imaginable onto a truck).

I rather just get the top part of the windshield tinted its cheaper and won't cause a problem ever.

Here's the trick to customizing anything: If you're going to put (let's say) Buick portholes on your vehicle, be sure to put 'em where nobody else has! That's not me talking, it's a quote from somebody's article in Motor Trend magazine back in the fifties!

I drove for two hours to buy a used one for $50
happy with it i walked out to look at the truck
and seen a rust hole bout 4 inches across with chunks missing covered with duct tape
got it home to find the rest of the roof still attached
also concered with the truck bouncing may add to it loosening
am reconsidering it even tho i want it,like the look,I would paint it black
it's a canuck........

I agree that's a much better option if you want the sun protection, but I just want a visor for the looks.

I agree, it's always real cool to have a unique truck, but most of the custom stuff I do is just stuff I saw on other trucks that I thought looked really good! Lol

It seems like everbody that has one of these says they cause rust like crazy. Anybody know why they do this? I would think if they were installed correctly you wouldn't have a problem.
