New music & video “Self Destructor” from on of my favorite bands Chevelle. Video opening features Pete’s 69/70 Chevrolet C10 truck. Truck can be seen multiple times in the video. Great band with a lead singer with great taste in trucks.

My seat belt retracting spring died and I slammed the door on the buckle once (maybe more) and that's what that door closing sounded like.

Truck is cool and the music beat is a little young for me, (not too bad) but I understood ZERO words the guy was screaming.

Hey SoCoC10, I'm a Chevelle fan myself. You may be the only person who understands, or appreciates the novelty tag I run on my 67 Chevelle. Most people don't catch the band reference.

The song’s about being pushed to your limits and dealing with anger. Some people claim they see red when extremely angered.

They are a harder rock band than most of my other musical choices. I like them because their song lyrics are typically about current topics. This song “Self Destructor” is without naming names ,the affects of not listening to experts or following the science.

The band Chevelle formed in 1995. They’ve released 12 albums with one due out in March of 2021.

As I mentioned in an earlier reply, they are a hard rock band but there is some meaning behind their songs/lyrics and that’s why I like them. An older song of theirs “Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)” 13 million views on YouTube is about America’s over prescription and abuse of the drug Ritalin. Typically used for attention deficit disorder.

The song “Face to the Floor” is about Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scam.

“Roswell’s Spell” is a song about questioning the validity of people’s recollection of their alien encounters.

Just noting, not all songs are about pick up trucks and someone’s dog running away.
