friends '87 with my old 383..

this is a pic of my friends SWB, he's the one that bought my 383. Took it to Thunder Valley this last Friday night and ran a 13.53@100 MPH. He has the Telstars for track, and some 17" for daily driving. He also has a complete air ride setup, so it will lay on the ground.

hey Chris!

yea, I had to take my Holley 750 HP off, and will have to send it back for warranty. Had some leaking issues, that I felt was wrong for a $600 carb to do.

Other than that, I will put in a new aluminum radiator, waterpump and new TCI tranny cooler this week. When the carb come in, I'll be ready to go!
It better break into the 12's, or I'll be quite disappointed...

Tracy, when you going blown?

Cool truck. What times did you run with the 383? How did he hook with the bags? Can't wait to see how the 406 runs. And one more thing, not really Holley savy, why 600 bucks for a 750? Must be one hell of a carb, huh? Is it a DP or vacuum?

Mike on the holley any 'tricked' holley can go that much by the guys that flow them and do all the tricks. Holley finally caught on a nd have an HP series now that are pretty 'trick' out of the box and they are not much cheaper than that.
Mike i wanted you to see this truck I ran across while browsing some porn ---errr --- I meant classifieds. It just sold and the guy let it go for $7500 I think. I loved the interior.

Tracy. I assume the TBI is off the 87 ?

I like the speed. Unlike the other guy who is scared to run over 50 MPH. :p
Way nice ride. Does it have a tailgate?

Great pics Tracy I'm like everyone else and can't wait to see the 406's times.

Crossy- Any idea how they bolted that seat setup on the interior? I like the look of the factory console there.

Someone must have really needed some money to sell that truck that cheap. Nice truck.

You see trucks like that all the time at truck shows. Selling for half or less of what they have in them. I just don't understand this logic. It has to be a money thing, as in needed it really bad.

The very top picture looks good. I have needed (and wanted) new wheels for awhile now. Those in the top picture aren't too expensive and they look great on these trucks. I think after my exhuast is done and I have some money Ill sell my draglites and get some of those.
