3 speed standard to a TH350

I want to replace my 3 speed standard with a TH350. I believe I have all the parts, Trans, starter from a car with a powerglide, modified crossmember with trans mount, cooler, and linkage. The only thing im not sure about is the flex plate. Is it 13 inch and if so will any chevy 13 inch plate do the trick. I asume the automatic has the same bolt patter to the block. Any help or advice would be appreciated I have a 230 CID 6cyl Thanks
