Pics of Ol' Yeller all cleaned up.

Well guys, I put a lot of work into Ol' Yeller this weekend getting it all cleaned up and ready to go to the shop. Cleaned up really well. It has come a long way. I even took it for a drive down the street with only the parking brake to slow me down and open headers. I just couldn't resist. It was really nice to drive it. I can't wait for the brakes and exhaust are done so i can drive it on a daily basis. Here are some pics. Does this qualify me for TOTM? Lol.

Nothing of the interior. I have 2004 Chevy seats for the front and a third row out of a suburban, but none of them are mounted. For now I have a stock sport bucket seat. I'll post more pics this week.

Re: Pics of Ol' Yeller all cleaned up.

Well guys, as I said, Ol' Yeller is on the way to the shop. The brakes should be done in the next day or so and then it's off to the exhaust shop. I don't know if I should go with 2 and 1/4" or 2 and 1/2" exhaust. I guess I have a day or so to decide. I have to admit I'm a little nervous not having the Blazer in my garage. Fortunately, it's at my shop (the one that I work at) so I can keep a close eye on it.

Re: Pics of Ol' Yeller all cleaned up.

Looks like the tow truck driver only had the winch hooked to the front with no FRONT safety chains. If the worm gear on that winch would've given out your blazer would of ended up in the middle of I10.

Enough BS, looks good, hurry up and get it done.

Re: Pics of Ol' Yeller all cleaned up.

Well guys, did a little work on Ol' Yeller this week. Well, actually one of my guys at the shop did. Got the motor timed a bit better so now its not so hard to keep running. I found out that my friends at Taylor Made hose couldn't extend my brake lines. I called 4wheel parts and they said that superlift and skyjacker would not ship the til mid June. Bummer!!!! I'm gonna go to San Antonio brake and clutch and have all three made this week. Hopefully I can tackle the lift tomorrow with some help from a couple of my guys that are working. That would be sweet!! I'll post some pics if I make progress. Later.
