Rear Leaf Spring problem

Well, I'm finally getting around to working on my Blazer again, but I have a broken leaf in one of my rear leaf spring packs. What would you do? New springs...find one leaf...buy a used set?

Re: Rear Leaf Spring problem

Should be able to have a local spring shop replace just that piece, find a shop that does suspension work & you'll be all set.

Might be in your local phone book under 'springs-Automotive Sales & Service'

Do you think there would be any difference of height from side to side with one new leaf? Or am I being anal? Probably the later of the two.

Thanks man!

Re: Rear Leaf Spring problem

I would replace both sides to keep everyting even. I hate doing things twice so I would buy new. Keep in mind most pre-made rear sporing packs are made to P/U weight specs not Blazers. I run 4" front and 5.5" rear springs and my rig sat level with the hardtop on. Without the hard top I did get a little 'stinkbug' action going but I like that better than the saggy butt syndrome
Good luck
