Black and Yellow!!
What do you think of the Black carpet in the Yellow truck? The section behind the seat (missing at this point) is felt. Only cost $4.00 for that!
I bought the carpet via a recommendation from a member here. I hope to recover the seat next week and install it. I need to find the post on how to make my seat fold forward. Anyone know the thread? |

Re: Black and Yellow!!
I'm going with yellow and black on mine also except inside my cab is black with yellow doors with black panels (i'm going Canary yellow and I thought that might be a little too bright for the interior). I like the felt on the back. I haven't removed my tank yet...would you go with the felt over the tank or buy one of those professional panels to cover it up?

Re: Black and Yellow!!
i love black, but i think the hottest yellow truck setup i've ever seen used tan/taupe leather and carpet. tan and yellow are meant to be together.

Re: Black and Yellow!!
some example of what i am saying works well - tan and yellow. these are a couple variations of yellow, but you get the gist.

Re: Black and Yellow!!
So here is the Black and Yellow seat ready to go. I hope the bumps in the fabric will go away once it is sat on and in the sun.
Do you like the Yellow seat rails? Note the felt, my favorite material covering the springs. And yes Papa it relines! Although I need to deal with the extra fabric on the ends of the seat. Yes that is a computer lab in the background! I need all the "clean" space I can find. And yes beyond the window is a wood shop! I mounted the battery box yesterday. Note the yellow tie down. What do you think of the nickel plated custom exhaust tip? To close to the Battery? See that over spray on the frame!! I hate that! It is POR15 on the frame, how do I clean that up? Re: Black and Yellow!!
Reminds me of a Satruday Night Live skit where Eddie Murphy is wearing the Bee Suit...or was that John Belushi?
I think it looks great...clear contrast is always good for color schemes.
