The only 2 things I can think of are:
1. He is changing it to a stepside and a differant year front clip. 2. He stold it and is selling the parts so he dosen't get busted. It just doesn't make sence to me to part something in that good of condition.

Im sure glad Im not into short beds. Just the price of a decent bed is out of my price range now. It seems like it wasnt that long ago you could get a used short box in decent shape for around 400 bucks. If a guy made some sort of jig and was a decent welder he could make some serious money shortening up long boxes.

I talked to this guy this morning. The only thing he is keeping is the cab, axles, and title. Apparently the frame is from a later model truck. Hes close enough that I could go take a look at it if someone needed me to. lmk
